Hussain Sajwani, founder of DAMAC Group, has embarked on a USD $1 billion project in Saudi Arabia, expanding DAMAC Data Centres’ investments from Saudi Arabia to key emerging economies globally. The massive initiative focuses on building 55MW of data center capacity by 2025 in Riyadh and Dammam, supporting cloud providers, hyperscalers, and local enterprises. DAMAC is also investing in Bangkok with a 20MW data center slated for 2026, alongside a 15MW facility in Jakarta, Indonesia. These developments align with rapid digital transformations in regions like Southeast Asia, driven by AI and cloud infrastructure demands. The Ajlan & Bros Holding Group partnership accelerates their CDN and cloud security solutions across MENA, setting new standards in digital infrastructure. DAMAC’s strategy highlights a focus on next-generation hubs, with additional projects in Turkey, Jordan, and Malaysia, underscoring its role as a key player in global digital ecosystems.
